On Zzyzx, I mourn myself in a monsoon\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

it is hard to be new.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

The man who lived is the man who died,<\/span><\/p>\n

cherry tomatoes to ghost lines,<\/span><\/p>\n

joy<\/span>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 to the other side.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Suffering and rejoicing often look the same.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

White sacred thornapple awake<\/span><\/p>\n

in the nightshade: devil\u2019s trumpet,<\/span><\/p>\n

jimsonweed, moonflower, hells bells<\/span><\/p>\n

it comes to be given so many names,<\/span><\/p>\n

but the poison remains the same.<\/span><\/p>\n

These engravings in quartz must proclaim\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

a living vow to all the little sunworshippers<\/span><\/p>\n

to always hold up these hills, to give a man<\/span><\/p>\n

the opportunity of doing a thing,<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

you say<\/span>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0memoria,<\/span><\/p>\n
