Mesa and stone<\/span><\/p>\n

Leaf and creek<\/span><\/p>\n

And the moon<\/span><\/p>\n

Linger\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In the dazzling exposure of noon<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

How the wind<\/span><\/p>\n

Blows the long hair<\/span><\/p>\n

Of one woman he knows–<\/span><\/p>\n

To mask her<\/span><\/p>\n

Beautiful smile<\/span><\/p>\n

As she comes back to work<\/span><\/p>\n

From her lunch\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

How patches of snow persist<\/span><\/p>\n

On the broken gray asphalt\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Of the parking lot<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

How the land appears broken\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n
