Of caps and jackets and gloves<\/span><\/p>\n

Reminds me what hands can do<\/span><\/p>\n

A winter of snow fog clearing<\/span><\/p>\n

To reveal what I never saw<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

A winter of wind talking in the junipers<\/span><\/p>\n

With voices that fill my listening ears\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

A winter of\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Clouds dropping to rest<\/span><\/p>\n

On the canyon floor<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

A winter of snow giving shine<\/span><\/p>\n

To a new light<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Another winter\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

When all the birds depart\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

And a lone house finch sits on the windowsill<\/span><\/p>\n

Singing<\/span><\/p>\n

Maybe I\u2019ll sing a song of my own<\/span><\/p>\n

So the last days of the year fill<\/span><\/p>\n

With the two songs of ourselves.<\/span><\/p>\n
