We left waiting<\/span><\/p>\n

And all of the<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Phenomena that they were<\/span><\/p>\n

Their fingernails,\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Their noses, their ears<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

And the bleach running<\/span><\/p>\n

White and yellow<\/span><\/p>\n

down their shoulders.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

We saw the hobo jeans<\/span><\/p>\n

The opium odyssey of<\/span><\/p>\n

Some fiend\u2019s wandering.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

We saw young men<\/span><\/p>\n

In their early graves<\/span><\/p>\n

On an early morning\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Their perfectly embalmed lips\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Their perfectly fitting slacks\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

And all of their mothers<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

In early mourning.<\/span><\/p>\n

The flowers around their\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Fingernails, no longer growing.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

We saw the fairytale legs<\/span><\/p>\n

Of a great deer<\/span><\/p>\n

Blinded by headlights<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Her open stomach<\/span><\/p>\n

Tangled up tresses<\/span><\/p>\n

Smeared across the black.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

We saw finches buzzing in mutual recollection.<\/span><\/p>\n

We saw the cannibal capital industry Big Pharma<\/span><\/p>\n

Twisting the colors of its kaleidoscope tongue<\/span><\/p>\n

Around the borders of Eden-<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

And all of its apples<\/span><\/p>\n

And naked clay creatures<\/span><\/p>\n

Languished in lustful discourse<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

With an egotistical<\/span><\/p>\n

Elitist, overindulgent<\/span><\/p>\n

Water moccasin.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The children stuck\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

BB guns into<\/span><\/p>\n

Ant mounds<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

And took refuge<\/span><\/p>\n

In the animal\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Madness of combustion<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Every metal ball<\/span><\/p>\n

Which scarred that colony<\/span><\/p>\n

Like a hurried meteor<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Was a moment\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Of misplaced<\/span><\/p>\n
