Mission

To publish students and creatives across the United States and Texas, including those from marginalized groups.

Vision

To build a place where students can thrive, discover new skills, passions, and inspire creativity.

Our values

Empathy

Our contributors entrust us with their work, passions, and inventions. We treat every submission with care and aim to be thoughtful with our responses. We can’t always guarantee feedback, but we promise to read and review every submission carefully.

Creativity

We seek work that has a strong creative voice, asks questions, forces the reader to see a new perspective, and is not afraid to shy away from what it means to be human, no matter how gritty or dark it may be.

Diversity, inclusion, and belonging

We aim to publish every voice, including those from marginalized communities or historically misrepresented backgrounds. We encourage everyone to submit to our journal, no matter your background, level of expertise, or job title.
