it will never be an obsolete gerund/ living/ this whatever it is/ it’s breathing a run-on sentence far more than just labeling/ we are counting to ten/ regarding pain the defining/ surgeons were once barbers with poles/ striping amidst the cutting/ lancing pulling and setting/ people were beings breeding/ like now/ and stopped breathing/ the future will eventually be here blushing/ the present is the gift/ gifting/ the moment is stretching/ the daily bread/ state-of-the-art/ now/ amidst the leaves dangling/ selves/ all should be remembering/ distant buds to be boomeranging/ here now/ not just wording or wearing a mask hiding/ but bandaging/ planting/ giving/ waiting for the blooming/ healing/ yes/ loosening sheets of the situating sky/ not even seeing sky to be knowing/ heaven at the ceiling/ orbiting the patient/ coming in for a landing/ onto the runway of your heart
